The Seaside Casual collection features timeless designs reimagined with modern proprietary materials. Inspired by the coastal communities of the eastern seaboard, Seaside Casual has been crafting furniture since 1996. The Seaside Casual story began with one Adirondack Chair made from mahogany. As demand for the design grew and with encouragement from the community, Seaside Casual continued to design, manufacture, and sell mahogany furniture, experiencing growth year after year. In 1999, Seaside Casual introduced a new material known as EnviroWood®. Made from high-quality recycled HDPE (high-density polyethylene), EnviroWood® offers the quality, comfort, and beauty of traditional wood without the associated maintenance. Furniture constructed from EnviroWood® can endure corrosive seaside air, a New England winter, or an Arizona heatwave. Seaside Casual has been awarded for design excellence and manufacturing leadership in 2001, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2021.
