Warranty Coverage by Product Category
Teak Wood Furniture
- 5 years against structural failure of frame (residential)
- 3 years against structural failure of frame (commercial)
eco-Teak Furniture
- 5 years against structural failure of frame (residential)
- 3 years on finish (residential)
Stainless Steel Furniture
- 3 years against structural failure of frame (residential and commercial)
Aluminum Furniture
- 5 years against structural failure of frame and against cracking, peeling or blistering of finish (residential and commercial)
Woven Furniture
- 3 years against structural failure of frame (residential and commercial)
- 1 year warranty for glass table tops
Umbrellas & Bases
- 1 year for umbrellas against structural failure of frame (residential and commercial; wind damage not covered)
- 1 year for umbrella bases (residential and commercial; corrosion not covered)
Cushions, Slings, Pillows, Furniture Covers
- 1 year against defects in material (except C.O.M.) or workmanship (residential and commercial; teak oil stains not covered)
What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damages from freight/shipping, incorrect assembly, unreasonable/abusive use, acts of God, improper care, freeze damage, mildew, normal wear, fading/stretching/pilling of fabrics, damage from chemicals (e.g., ammonia cleaners, suntan oils), glass breakage, glides, improper repairs, post-purchase modifications, or failure to provide reasonable and necessary care and maintenance as outlined at www.kingsleybate.com.
Teak wood: Checking (small cracks), oil secretions, and grain lifting are natural and not covered. Distressed teak may have nicks, splits, knots, and flaking finishes over time—these are normal and not covered.
eco-Teak: Made from high-density polystyrene; some fading and minor discoloration from UV exposure is expected. Use heat pads, coasters, and clean spills promptly to avoid damage not covered under warranty.
Aluminum: Powder-coated finish may show scratches or imperfections due to normal wear. Pool water and salt residue must be cleaned regularly to avoid pitting or oxidation. Surface flaws from manufacturing or antiquing are not considered defects.
